Darrell and Marissa'a Reception

I love weddings! I don't think anyone could get enough of these two and how fun and happy and cute they are together. I'm so happy for them and that it turns out the perfect girl for my brother in law happened to be my cousin. Love it. Love them. Love weddings.

Darrell and Marissa Get Married!

What an adorable couple and perfect wedding day! The temple ceremony was beautiful (and it was pretty cool that I was related to almost everyone!), and they are so happy, and it was so fun to be their photographer. The weather could have been a bit warmer, but the sun was definitely shining and I've decided the sky is always perfectly blue with white puffy clouds at the Manti Temple.

Groomals?

Honestly? Is that what we're calling the session with the bride and groom before the wedding day? There's just something wrong with that word. But whether bridals or groomals (or how 'bout wedding peop-als ;) we did do some pre-wedding day photos with bride and groom, and though I'm not sold on the word, I am a fan of the concept. So fun and relaxed, with the bonus of an extra location and vibe, and it means that on the wedding day no one is stressing about getting every last photo or taking too much time on photos and having a tight day. My cousin has awesome style and is a great model too, so it was a blast. And thanks to Grandma for the luggage. I also loved doing her hair and makeup. She belongs in this period!
